Our podcast, Help! My Child’s Anxious, is now back at #4 in the UK Parenting Charts 🇬🇧 and is also charting in Turkey, Ireland, Austria and New Zealand 🌍

When we started this podcast, our hope was simply that anxious families would feel a little less alone. To know that parents and children all around the world are listening, connecting and finding moments of safety, understanding and closeness with their families and others with shared experiences means so much to us.

Thank you for every listen, share, message and recommendation. We are so proud that conversations about children’s mental health, anxiety and connection are reaching so many families ❤️

Love,
Vanessa & Saskia

One of my favourite parts of my job is getting to One of my favourite parts of my job is getting to speak in schools 🫶🏼

I’ve just finished a brilliant talk at The Haberdashers' Boys' School and The Haberdashers' Girls' School all about anxiety, resilience and supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and … I LOVE doing this work.

There’s something so powerful about getting parents, teachers and schools into the same room to talk openly about children’s mental health, what anxiety actually looks like and how we can help children feel safer, calmer and more confident ❤️

I’ve opened up some spaces for the end of this school year and also for September bookings. I can offer talks, coffee mornings and inset sessions on:
✨ Anxiety
✨ Resilience
✨ Neurodivergence
✨ Emotionally Based School Avoidance
✨ Behaviour and emotional regulation
✨ Parenting support
✨ Mental health in schools

For parents, staff or whole school communities 💫

You can book through my website Saskia Joss Therapy or via Calendly and it would genuinely be such a pleasure to come and work with your school before the summer or help you set things up for September 🤍

Shakira Akabusi shared a question so many parents are asking: how do you manage anxiety and ADHD when they are so often linked and can look so similar?

We talked about how anxiety and ADHD can overlap, how to begin understanding what might be driving your child’s behaviour and some practical ways to support regulation, focus and emotional wellbeing.

If this is something you’re navigating, you’re definitely not alone.
